Terms of Service

Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and DocuFinds (“DocuFinds”, “we”, “us”) for your use of the DocuFinds website and application (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service for a company, you agree on its behalf and confirm you are authorized to do so.

The Service

DocuFinds lets you upload construction and business documents and use AI to search them, answer questions with citations, check documents against benchmarks and contract terms, and produce tables, drafts and task lists. Features may change as we improve the Service.

Your account

You must be at least 18 and give accurate information. Keep your sign-in secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.

Subscription, free trial and billing

DocuFinds Pro costs $99 per month, billed monthly in advance through our payment processor, Stripe. Prices exclude taxes where applicable.

New customers get a 14-day free trial. A payment card is required to start it. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your card is charged and your subscription renews monthly. Each customer may use the trial once.

You can cancel anytime from your account (Manage billing). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable and we do not give credits for partial months.

Plans include fair-use limits on AI processing to keep the Service reliable and affordable. If you reach a limit, some AI features may pause until the next billing period or until you change plans. We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice; changes apply from your next billing period.

Your content

You keep all rights to the documents and information you upload (“Your Content”). You give us a limited permission to store, copy, process and display Your Content only as needed to provide, secure and support the Service for you.

You are responsible for having the right to upload Your Content, including documents belonging to your employer, clients or project partners, and for complying with any confidentiality obligations that apply to them.

We do not use Your Content to train AI models, and we do not share it with other customers.

Feedback

If you send ratings, comments or suggestions, we may use them to improve the Service without obligation to you. Corrections you ask DocuFinds to “remember” apply only to your own account.

AI output

Answers, reviews, benchmarks, drafts and other output are generated with AI and may be incomplete or wrong. DocuFinds shows citations so you can check each point against the source document — you are responsible for reviewing output before relying on it.

DocuFinds does not provide legal, engineering, accounting or other professional advice. Benchmarks and pricing references are general information, not a guarantee of fair or market value. Contract deadlines and reminders are aids only; you remain responsible for meeting your contractual obligations and notice requirements.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the Service: no unlawful content or activity, no attempts to break security or access other accounts, no reverse engineering or scraping, no reselling the Service, no uploading malware, and no use that places an unreasonable load on the Service or its AI processing. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available and your data safe, but the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We may change or discontinue features; if we discontinue the Service entirely we will give reasonable notice so you can export your work (Settings → Workspace & backups).

Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DocuFinds will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or business opportunities. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from your account panel. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms or if required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as content ownership, disclaimers and limitation of liability) survive termination.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If a change is material we will notify you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after the change means you accept it.

General

If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These Terms, with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service.
